What should I wear to the Wedding Ceremony and Reception?
Dress Code: Main Character Metallics + Black Tie
Dress to the nines in formal, bold, metallics like gold, silver, and bronze. Think glamourous, statement-making, and luxurious. Tuxedos and sharp suits are encouraged.
Are there ubers or rental cars on Catalina Island?
No, transportation is very limited on the island. There are taxis (limited hours of operation) and some Airbnbs/VRBOs come with a golf cart. Walking is the best and most reliable way to get around, bring comfortable shoes! What’s the weather like on Catalina Island?
Catalina Island in late October and early November has mild weather, with daytime highs around 67–75°F and cooler evenings near 60–65°F. Bring a light jacket for nighttime if you get chilly.
Where should I get the shuttle to the Casino?
Look for a 1960s Mini Bus Tram in the Tour Plaza, across the street from the Atwater Hotel.
Rides to the Avalon Casino: 3:00PM – 4:00PM
Rides back to the Tour Plaza: 9:30PM – 10:30PM
Are kids invited to the Reception and Ceremony?
As long as they are officially invited on your invitation. That said, if you plan to bring your children to the island with you, you may absolutely bring them to our Welcome Halloween Party on Friday night!
Is the wedding indoors?
Yes! The Wedding Ceremony, dinner, and dancing will take place inside the Casino. The rehearsal dinner and Welcome Party will also take place indoors.
